High-scoring games across four Dodgers affiliates featured a standout leadoff performance from Josue De Paula, rehab outings for Blake Snell and Tyler Glasnow, and a long list of roster moves across the system.
Josue De Paula reached base five times, opened with a leadoff homer, and continued to be a top offensive catalyst for Double-A Tulsa despite the Drillers’ 8-7 loss.
High-scoring outcomes across affiliates: Oklahoma City 10-6, Corpus Christi 8-7, Great Lakes 8-7, Ontario 9-6 — no game had fewer than six runs for either team.
Multiple roster moves: rehab assignments for Snell and Glasnow, demotions and assignments across Triple-A and lower levels, activations and injuries affecting Tulsa and Great Lakes.
Four Dodgers minor-league games produced a lot of runs and several notable performances. Double-A Tulsa's Josue De Paula delivered a standout leadoff day but the Drillers lost 8-7. Triple-A Oklahoma City and Single-A Ontario recorded double-digit and extra-inning wins, respectively. High-A Great Lakes escaped with a one-run victory after a shaky late inning.
De Paula, a 21-year-old outfield prospect, started Tulsa's game with a leadoff solo home run on the first pitch. He reached base five times total and was on base in four of his next five plate appearances. Those opportunities didn't convert: the three hitters behind him went a combined 0 for 14, and Tulsa lost 8-7. The Drillers also committed three errors, which accounted for one unearned run.
Blake Snell worked a rehab outing for Triple-A Oklahoma City, throwing 3.2 innings, allowing multiple homers, walking three and striking out two, finishing at 73 pitches. Despite Snell's uneven day, the Comets won 10-6, fueled by a six-run start to the game and strong plate discipline that produced nine walks and only eight strikeouts as a team. Ryan Ward drove in four runs on three hits for Oklahoma City.
Tyler Glasnow's rehab appearance came at Single-A Ontario, where he pounded the strike zone and used just 16 pitches to complete two innings, allowing one hit and recording a strikeout. Ontario beat Lake Elsinore 9-6 in 10 innings, with Oswaldo Osorio driving in four runs, including a two-run home run in extras.
