Sari Schorr will release a new studio album, Running Wild, through Provogue / Artone Label Group in October 2026. Europe gets the record on 9 October and the US release follows on 30 October. The announcement is accompanied by the lead single 'Mr. In The Middle' and details of an extensive European tour that begins with a London launch show on 29 September at The Lexington.
Schorr describes Running Wild as the album she has wanted to make throughout her career. The record draws on soul, blues, jazz and rock influences. The themes named in the announcement are defiance, resilience, self-discovery and transformation. Schorr says she has "reached a deeper understanding of who I am as an artist" and is following songs "to their emotional truth," adding that the album title captures "that place where vulnerability and strength exist side by side."
The first single explores the tension between two people caught between attraction and commitment. Schorr frames the song as addressing a relationship where "the chemistry is real, but while one is ready to commit, the other keeps moving between desire and distance." The record's wider themes include learning to trust instincts and letting go of judgement.
Schorr assembled a studio team for Running Wild that includes co-producer Jamie Walker (guitar and bass), drummer Luke Paget and keyboard player Bennett Holland. Schorr says the musicians brought an "electric" inspiration to the sessions and helped deliver the album she dreamed of making.
