Plaza de la Familia Returns to Disney California Adventure With Coco Celebration

Plaza de la Familia has returned to Disney California Adventure for the fall season as a limited-time celebration centered on Pixar's Coco and Día de los Muertos traditions. The event takes place in Paradise Gardens and is scheduled to run through November 2.

The main draw is a fifteen-minute street-stage show titled "The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate Coco." The show is staged in front of the Plaza de la Familia archway and is narrated by two storytellers, Alma and Ramone. Performers include singers, musicians, dancers, and puppets tied to Coco's story.

• Interactive opening: The performance opens with "The World Es Mi Familia," inviting children to join in using special shoe props to tap and dance. This creates a participatory moment early in the show.
• Traditional song: The troupe performs "La Llorona," a Mexican folk song featured in Coco, as part of the musical storytelling.
