Health Systems Can Look to Their Peers for AI Inspiration
The speakers were Ziad Obermeyer, Blue Cross of California Distinguished Associate Professor of Health Policy and Management at the University of California, Berkeley, and Zachary Lipton, assistant professor of operations research and machine learning at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business. At the end of May, I attended a discussion on artificial intelligence and healthcare hosted by the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School at the school's Bloomberg Center in Washington, D.C.
