Furious follows FBI agent Alice (Emmy Rossum) as she closes in on Catherine (Lola Petticrew), a serial killer targeting people tied to trafficking and assault. The series reveals Catherine's motive is both revenge and an attempt to discover who killed her friend Isabel. Character dynamics and performances
Rossum described acting opposite Petticrew as working with "a force and a joy," stressing the complicated bond between Alice and Catherine: both rage and tenderness are present.
