Luxair to invest more than $1.2bn in full fleet renewal
Luxair (LG, Luxembourg) says it will invest more than EUR1 billion euros (USD1.2 billion) to replace its entire fleet by the mid-2030s, excluding aircraft newly delivered, as part of a fleet renewal centred on the B737 MAX family. Luxembourg's Chronicle newspaper reported that this was announced by CEO Gilles Feith on August 28, 2026, when the carrier unveiled its first two new company-owned B737-8 s at Luxembourg.
