# What a Chalice Circle is Chalice Circles are small-group gatherings at UUCC designed for deeper listening, personal spiritual growth, and sustained relationship-building. Each circle brings together around six to ten people for a recurring 90-minute meeting once a month, beginning in October or early November and continuing through the spring.
# How the meetings work
# Commitment expected Participation requires a meaningful commitment: attend monthly gatherings regularly, honor the group covenant, and engage in mutual listening. Facilitators are participants who complete facilitator training and take on extra responsibility for keeping the group's structure. Everyone contributes to what the circle becomes.
# Connection to congregational life Each circle will choose a way to serve the congregation or community, converting the relationships built in small groups into practical, shared ministry. Circles remain connected to UUCC's wider life and programs.
# Who should join The invitation is open to people at every stage of their relationship with UUCC. Newer members can use a circle to find a place within the congregation. Longtime members can use it to reach beyond familiar relationships and welcome others into sustained connection.
# Schedule and registration Initial registration deadline: September 28. That deadline lets organizers form groups, coordinate schedules, and prepare for gatherings to begin in October or early November. Organizers will continue accepting registrations for possible additional groups through December.

# Why this format matters for congregational life
