Anna Pigeon - The Rope - Review : Survival Is The Only Option

The useful part

This fifth episode of Anna Pigeon quite literally is one of the best episodes of television that I have ever watched. There is not one single bit about this episode that I did not like, it was absolutely incredible and props to every single cast member this episode because they all smashed it. I loved that we started with Anna being in the hole straight away, I was seriously missing a quote at the start of the episode and when it kicked in I was immediately hooked.

• The boys' fight really showed how deep Jessie's feelings for Anna are, to be honest this whole episode did.
• Even to just have Anna constantly talking as if we are inside her mind and then for us to truly be inside her mind was insane.
• Jessie be the one to make sure that everyone is going to look for her was faultless.
• To see him kind of have a bit of insecurity about their relationship when the fire guys were giving him rubbish about having slept with Anna last season but ultimately decide their connection was stronger...

What to take from it

I do like the juxtaposition of Anna being the only thing that is one Jessie's mind and the only thing on Anna's mind is Zach. One of the best things about this episode in my opinion was all of the conversation between Anna and Zach as the figment of her imagination, then her subsequent breakdown...

Details worth keeping

Having this storyline paired with these characters is amazing.
