# The Teachers Who Became a Part of Who I Am Some places become a part of our memories, while some become a part of who we are.

For me, **Gargi College was the latter.** When I joined Gargi College, I don't think I fully understood what being a part of Delhi University would mean to me.

I was a rather shy student and, honestly, I didn't explore or experience everything that college had to offer.

The useful part

# The Teachers Who Became a Part of Who I Am Some places become a part of our memories, while some become a part of who we are. For me, Gargi College was the latter. When I joined Gargi College, I don't think I fully understood what being a part of Delhi University would mean to me. I was a rather shy student and, honestly, I didn't explore or experience everything that college had to offer.

How it works

  • I may not have said "thank you" often enough, or told them how much thes...
  • Yet, when I look back now, I realise that Gargi gave me something much more valuable—it shaped my thoughts, my perception, my vision, and, most importantly, me.
  • It is something you experience and feel more than something you can put into words.
  • Somewhere between the classrooms, conversations, lectures, assignments and ordinary college days, I slowly started learning about myself.
  • When I think about my professors, I realise that each of them left a different impression on me.

What to take from it

They came into our classrooms to teach us concepts, but unknowingly, their behaviour, their patience, their discipline and the way they treated us taught us much more. Bhawna Ma'am was particular about her classes and everything she did, yet there was always a sweetness behind it. Spana Ma'am, Manpreet Ma'am, Rimpi Ma'am, Vibha Ma'am, Anshika Ma'am—and all the other teachers—each had their own way of teaching and their own special place in my memories.

Details worth keeping

She was one of the sweetest teachers I have ever met. I may not have had a very close bond with my teachers.
