Prévert Public Services Center (MSP) in Évry-Courcouronnes is a municipal facility designed by HEMAA Architectes and completed in 2026. The 2,474 m² building congregates several public services previously dispersed across the neighborhood into a single, publicly accessible hub commissioned by the City of Évry-Courcouronnes.
Under one roof the building houses:
- a branch town hall,
- a parenting center,
- a 30-cot nursery,
- a cultural space including a 180-seat multipurpose performance hall and a dance studio,
- a sociocultural space with art and music rooms and workshops,
- a third place providing Internet access for residents.
The MSP is positioned as a connector between two adjacent districts: Les Pyramides and Le Bois Sauvage. HEMAA frames the building as a "bridge within the neighborhood," a place meant to unify circulation and social uses across a local boundary. That urban aim shapes the project as both municipal infrastructure and neighborhood focal point.
Photographs of the completed project were made by Charles Bouchaïb and Sergio Grazia. The project record lists a multidisciplinary project team that includes engineering and specialist consultants: Ote and Otelio (engineering), Aqora (scenography), Arwytec (kitchen design), AFC (landscape), Rubner (timber framing), STB (structural works), Delta Sud (bricks), and additional contractors for HVAC, electrical, flooring, partitions, and finishes. The client is the City of Évry-Courcouronnes.
The inclusion of a parenting center, a nursery with 30 cots, and a branch town hall reflects a practical mix of daily civic services aimed at families and residents who need convenient access to municipal resources. The "third place" with Internet access addresses local digital needs and provides a public workspace or learning resource.
ArchDaily situates the MSP among recent French projects that consolidate public functions or cultural programs into neighborhood-scale buildings. The design response follows a trend in municipal architecture toward mixed-use social infrastructure located close to users rather than centralized facilities.
Prévert Public Services Center delivers a concentrated offering of municipal and cultural services on a modest footprint, with an explicit goal of easing daily access and strengthening connections between two districts. The project's strength is in its programmatic clarity: clear services, defined cultural capacity, and a civic-client relationship with the city government.
