EgyptAir Launches New Direct Route Between Cairo and Zanzibar

EgyptAir has launched its first direct flight between Cairo International Airport and Zanzibar, Tanzania, according to a statement by the national carrier on Saturday, 5 September. The new route will operate twice a week on Fridays and Sundays, using EgyptAir's Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft. The inaugural flight recorded a load factor of more than 90 percent, according to the airline.
