Where is the Omar Abdullah led NC Government?

Between governmentality, governance and politics, where does the Omar Abdullah led government stand? To the common Kashmiri, the government is missing in action, except for photo ops, self-congratulatory media rants by its MLAs and other unelected honchos. In other words, the Omar Abdullah led government jogs its way by trying to hog the media headlines.

This is what National Conference was not voted for into power. Beyond rhetorical and mostly unkept promises in the party's pre-election manifesto, the common people of J&K only see dazzling displays of authority in the form or security cavalcades, irrelevant media sound bytes by NC members and loyalists, and irrelevant governance if at all it can be called that.
