Choose slightly oversized, thicker crew-neck sweaters for comfort and easy layering on planes and in airports.
Prefer lightweight, roomy pants (cropped cargos, joggers, or relaxed trousers) over jeans for transit comfort and on-trip wear.
Plus, you are dealing with all the unexpected temps that come with the glamorous airports (sarcasm) and planes themselves. These are versatile pieces I am wearing for traveling and the items I can mix and match and layer to get the most use. While I love a great button down, I prefer a sweater while traveling for comfort and ease. My top three are this sweater I own in nearly every color (seen above), this classic I have waxed on and on about for years, and this new-to-me sweater that I am styling above. I love wearing these cropped cargos that are so comfortable, relatively lightweight, and have super handy pockets.
