The useful part

Instead of being dropped into a Street View panorama that you can explore, you are shown a static Street View snapshot. Each image initially appears through a small spotlight, so you only get a limited glimpse of the scene. This might sound hard but get it wrong and the game gives you a little more help.

How it works

  • There are 50 locations to find each day, giving you ten five-location games to work through.
  • You can't pan around, follow the road or search for clues elsewhere.
  • The road markings, architecture, signs and even the vegetation might give you some clues – and sometimes the smallest detail can be the difference between a confident three points and a very wrong guess.

Details worth keeping

TripGeo Snaps is a new GeoGuessr type game with a difference. The result is a fast-paced game of spotting visual clues.
