Billed as a "full 3D remake" by the company, this new version of Romancing SaGa 3 will feature upgraded graphics, fully voiced cutscenes, overhauls to combat and other mechanics, selectable difficulty levels, and several more new features. Each protagonist has their own reason for doing so, but the driving force behind their actions is the Rise of Morastrum, an event that occurs every 300 years and results in all newborn life being destroyed, save for one survivor, the Child of Destiny.
