SNK is bringing its latest FATAL FURY fighting game to Nintendo’s new hybrid console with two editions, a Mai Shiranui pre-order bonus, portable play support, and multiple control schemes.
Two editions: Standard ($19.99) and Starter ($29.99) — Starter includes Season Pass 1–3 and additional content.
Two control schemes: Smart Style for simplified inputs and Arcade Style for traditional, precision-based play.
SNK will release FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves digitally on Nintendo Switch 2 on October 22, 2026. There are two purchase options at launch: a Standard Edition priced at $19.99 / €19.99 that includes the base game, and a Starter Edition priced at $29.99 / €29.99 that bundles the base game plus additional content, including the Season Pass for character lineups across Seasons 1–3. The Starter Edition will also receive a physical release on January 21, 2027.
Digital pre-orders are available now through the Nintendo eShop. Players who pre-order the Switch 2 version will receive an exclusive DLC classic costume for Mai Shiranui. Retail pre-orders for the Starter Edition's physical release are expected to open through participating retailers at a later date.

Trailers for the game have highlighted characters such as Duck King, and music tie-ins have appeared alongside character promotions. One promotional music release tied to Duck King is the single 'Duck! Duck! Duck!' by Salvatore Ganacci, which accompanies the character's arrival and wider marketing push.
If you play fighters on the go or on hybrid hardware, the Switch 2 release brings the current FATAL FURY entry to Nintendo's ecosystem with flexible control options and a lower-priced base edition. The Starter Edition is the more complete buy at launch if you want immediate access to Season Pass content. Pre-ordering grants a cosmetic bonus for a marquee series character.
