Snaga/...In The Grey Apparel Of Ghosts/2026 EP Review

Useful takeaways from this story.

A very distorted sound starts off the ep before going into a very fast and raw musical direction which also utilizes a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats.

Vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams while the guitar riffing also mixes in a small amount of melody.

A lot of the music also shows an old school influence while electronic sounds are also added into the background briefly.

How it works

Most of the recording sticks to either a fast or mid tempo direction and the closing track is done in more of a slower style as well as being very long and epic in length and adds in a brief use of solos...
Snaga plays a style of black metal t hat is very raw and traditional sounding.
The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover the writings of Robert E.
In my opinion Snaga are a very great sounding raw black metal solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep.
