# What's New at Alpine Fleet for Winter 2026/27

New and returning shared services

  • Lyon: A Tarentaise route will operate five days a week for Val Thorens, Tignes, Les Arcs, La Plagne and La Rosière. A new Saturday service links Lyon with Alpe d'Huez and Les 2 Alpes.
  • Grenoble: A new Tarentaise service runs Friday through Sunday, providing direct transfers to Val Thorens, Tignes, Les Arcs, La Plagne and La Rosière. The Saturday service to Alpe d'Huez and Les 2 Alpes returns this season.

These shared options include both multi-drop stops and door-to-door choices where available.

Expanded private-transfer network

Responding to sustained demand, Alpine Fleet has expanded its private-transfer offering. Standard and premium private transfers are now available out of Geneva, Grenoble, Lyon, Turin and Zurich. The private network now reaches additional destinations such as Megève, Courmayeur, Aosta, Châtel, Verbier and Zermatt. The expansion aims to give travellers more choice between shared coach services and point-to-point private vehicles.

Operational & customer-service changes

Alpine Fleet maintains dedicated ground staff at Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble airports to manage flight delays and greet passengers. Local teams in resort support pick-ups and drop-offs. The company's call centre operates 24/7 year-round so customers can speak to a real person whenever they need support. PlanetSKI reports Alpine Fleet's rating as 4.5/5 across major review platforms.

What this means for travellers

If you plan to fly into Geneva, Lyon or Grenoble for a ski week, you should have more shared transfer frequency and a wider selection of private-transfer options than in previous seasons. New weekend and Saturday-only services give extra flexibility for Saturday-changeover weeks, while door-to-door upgrades reduce the hassle of last-mile transfers to chalets in the Tarentaise.

For resorts beyond the Tarentaise such as Verbier, the addition of shared routes provides a lower-cost alternative to full private transfers. The reinforced ground-staff presence and round-the-clock call-centre are intended to smooth arrivals when flights are delayed or schedules shift.
