Food Review: Elijah Pies At Joo Chiat Place | Gorgeous Pet-Friendly Flagship Outlet Cafe

Pies has opened at 72 Joo Chiat Place, their new flagship outlet after outposts at Tanjong Pagar Plaza and King George's Avenue. Elijah Pies started out twelve years ago where husband and wife duo specialise in pies – sweet and savoury – where their Joo Chiat space is gorgeous, restored Peranakan shophouse. How it works

• Other than that, you can pretty much expect similar items as their Tanjong Pagar outlet where there is a wide selection of savoury pies, dessert pies, coffee, [...]
• Designed in collaboration with Nice Projects, the building's façade is given a new splash of navy blue, where its interior is contemporary with outdoor pet-friendly seats as well.
• The interior space is also well-thought out, as it features a section which can double up as a private dining corner, as well as a 10-seater communal table with a lazy susan.
• For solo diners or couples, the best seats in the house for me are the small tables beside the window where you can sip coffee and enjoy the sights of vibrant Joo Chiat.
• Chiat flagship store are some outlet exclusive items such as their savoury "Pizza Pies".
