The useful part

A low cut sweeps 20 to 1000 Hz at 12, 24 or 48 dB per octave, and a high cut covers 1 kHz up to 20 kHz. Q-Link scales the mid band's Q inversely with its gain, so bandwidth narrows as you push it the way analog EQs behave. Band Solo isolates the low, mid or high band so you can hear what you're shaping instead of guessing.

How it works

• Auto-Gain matches levels by RMS, which keeps a before and after honest rather than just louder.
• Natural Phase is a 2x oversampled mode that stops the EQ curve cramping near Nyquist, which is what keeps a high shelf smooth at the top rather than brittle.
• Latency is reported to the host only while it's switched on, so bypass stays delay-compensated and tracks stay aligned.
• The display is a 2048-point FFT spectrum analyser on a logarithmic axis refreshing at 30 Hz, with the live EQ response drawn over it.
• A single AIR macro opens the top end through the same Natural Phase enhancer with the shelf and level decisions already dialed in behind it, for when a track needs air rather than an EQ session.
