Parvathy Thiruvothu’s Aleena anchors a film that examines duty, suspicion and survival inside the police force. The mystery elements are solid, but the film’s strength is its dramatic framing of institutional pressures.

The screenplay is consistently interesting but not always consistent in tone or plotting.
That is what the veteran investigator Haris Meeran, played by Vijayaraghavan, thinks. He is out to get her, but even with all his experience, it's not as easy as it looks. What we get is an interesting police procedural that isn't always consistent, but is always interesting.
He asks her not to worry, because the police force and the State will always stand with her. After the end of Pradhama Dhrishtya Kuttakar, some of you may think back about the beginning. The screenplay slowly makes this assurance look like empty, meaningless words.
Aleena did not do anything deliberately, but then… the law is the law. Whether it's the police or the common public, there cannot be exceptions. That's the basic storyline and the quick review.
