The number of enterprise openings decreased most in Pirkanmaa and the number of enterprise closures grew relatively most in North Savo in April to June 2026 compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. The number of enterprise openings exceeded the number of enterprise closures only in South Karelia and Åland.
Meanwhile, there were 10,781 enterprise openings in April to June 2026. At the same time, enterprise closures numbered 12,013.
