Useful takeaways from this story.

Every paid iCloud+ tier in the covered countries—including the 50GB plan—now includes Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no extra cost.

The rollout covers more than 100 countries through the end of September 2026 but notably excludes the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and many large European markets.

Apple announced that in more than 100 countries paid iCloud+ subscriptions now include access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade and a curated music offering called Apple Music Select. The inclusion applies to every paid iCloud+ tier, down to the cheapest 50GB plan, and Apple says there is no extra charge for the added services where the change has launched.

  • Apple TV and Apple Arcade are provided exactly as if you had bought standalone subscriptions. Apple says existing game saves and progress for Arcade will be preserved.
  • Apple Music Select is a collection of ad-free, Apple-programmed stations built for "lean-back listening." Stations include regionally relevant mixes and categories like Top Songs, 80s, and 90s, and they appear in the Home tab of the Apple Music app.

Subscription transition and sales changes

How this affects local pricing and Apple One

Apple hasn't said when or if the expanded iCloud+ package will reach excluded countries such as the U.S. and most of Western Europe. The company has also not published full, country-by-country transition details for customers with existing standalone subscriptions beyond the promise of uninterrupted access.

If you live in one of the more than 100 countries included in the rollout, a paid iCloud+ plan now effectively delivers cloud storage plus Apple TV, Apple Arcade, and curated Apple Music stations without an added fee. If you rely on full Apple Music or live in an excluded market, the change won't replace your current subscriptions yet.
