For the first time, SICUREZZA will run a Guest Country programme in 2027. Spain is the inaugural partner. The programme will involve institutions, trade associations and market stakeholders in discussions focused on industry issues.
SICUREZZA's exhibition offering will cover the security and fire ecosystem: video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, cybersecurity, fire protection and remotely controlled vehicles. The organisers say the programme will address the intersection of physical and logical security, reflecting industry trends such as system convergence, digitalisation and growing use of AI.
The event's content agenda is being developed with scientific partners and industry experts. Sessions will give particular attention to systems integration, AI applications in security, process digitalisation, cybersecurity and protection of critical infrastructure. The stated aim is to present solutions for complex risk scenarios and to align with public and private sector investment priorities.
SICUREZZA will be part of MIBA (Milan International Building Alliance), which groups SICUREZZA with SMART BUILDING EXPO, MADE expo and GEE (Global Elevator Exhibition). The combined format is intended to connect technologies and expertise across building, infrastructure and security sectors so stakeholders can address the design, management and protection of the built environment in a joined-up way.
What this means for attendees and exhibitors
- Buyers and specifiers: expect an integrated view of physical and cyber-resilience products and services across the built environment.
- Policy and procurement stakeholders: the Guest Country programme adds structured national-level participation and discussion.
Organisers continue to develop the content programme with partners and experts. Companies and institutions that want to participate should note the confirmed dates and the announced international and Guest Country elements when planning exhibits or delegations.
SICUREZZA 2027 is scheduled for mid-November in Milan, with significant early bookings and a clearer international presence than in past cycles. New programming elements, including a Guest Country slot for Spain and deeper integration with MIBA, indicate organisers are positioning the show to address converging physical and cyber security priorities within building and infrastructure sectors.
