Useful takeaways from this story.

Main conference runs Tuesday–Thursday (Nov 10–12) with keynotes, breakout sessions, Maintainer Tracks, ContribFests, and a Solutions Showcase.

Maintainer Tracks and ContribFests are the best places for hands-on involvement and to start contributing to projects.

AI workloads and infrastructure feature across sessions, intersecting with networking, observability, and device/GPU support.

Monday's CNCF-hosted co-located events (Agentics Day: MCP + Agents, ArgoCon, BackstageCon, CiliumCon, Cloud Native AI + Inference Day, FluxCon, Kubernetes on Edge Day, Observability Day, Open Source SecurityCon, OpenTofu Day, Platform Engineering Day, and more) require an All-Access Pass. The KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Only Pass includes Monday's Project Lightning Talks but not the broader CNCF co-located program. Pick All-Access if you want deep, concentrated time with specific project communities.

Monday: community focus and lightning talks

Monday is for concentrated, single-topic gatherings. If your priority is meeting maintainers, joining domain-focused workshops, or getting into technical depth with a single stack, plan to spend Monday at one of the co-located community days. Project Lightning Talks on Monday offer fast, project-specific updates even with the KubeCon-only pass.

Tuesday–Thursday: main conference structure

Each main day opens with keynotes followed by concurrent breakouts, Maintainer Track sessions, ContribFests, and the Solutions Showcase. Tuesday includes a strong set of Maintainer Track sessions across autoscaling, device management, security, Helm, and more, plus evening community networking (#KubeCrawl + #CloudNativeFest). Wednesday and Thursday continue with technical breadth and multiple ContribFests.

Hands-on pathways: Maintainer Tracks and ContribFests

AI workloads and inference show up across sessions rather than in an isolated track. Expect topics such as AI-aware networking in Kubernetes, infrastructure for AI workloads, GPU and specialized device support, orchestration for AI/ML workloads, and how existing cloud native projects adapt for AI use cases. These sessions sit alongside core operational topics like security, observability, multi-cluster management, and platform engineering.

  • Build your agenda ahead of time: many concurrent sessions cover diverse problem areas and communities.
  • Use Maintainer Tracks to hear about project roadmaps and contribution needs.
  • Visit the Solutions Showcase for vendor and project demos and evening community events for informal networking.

Thursday continues with Maintainer Tracks and ContribFests (examples include SIG Storage, containerd, SPIFFE, Rook, Open Policy Agent, minikube, Falco). The conference includes last-day opportunities to meet maintainers and consolidate next steps—follow project contribution channels and post-conference community events to sustain momentum.
