NANKAI NAMBA TOURIST: Up to ¥3,000 Off Shopping in Namba for International Visitors

Namba sits at the heart of Osaka's Minami district and connects directly to Kansai International Airport by Nankai trains. For travelers who plan to shop near the station when they arrive or before they leave, NANKAI NAMBA TOURIST introduces an immediate saving and a simple loyalty mechanic without requiring an app install.

The program operates across roughly 450–500 participating stores located inside four Namba commercial facilities: NAMBA Parks, NAMBA CITY, NAMBA SkyO, and NAMBA EKIKAN. Not every shop inside those facilities participates, so members should confirm eligibility at each register.

Members collect minapita points when shopping or dining at eligible stores: 1 point per ¥110 spent (including tax). Each minapita point equals ¥1 and can be redeemed at participating stores within the four listed Namba facilities. Tourist minapita points cannot be used for rail fares or at unrelated shopping centers.

• If you expect to buy fashion, cosmetics, souvenirs, outdoor gear, or other higher-value items, check coupon eligibility before paying. The savings are larger on bigger purchases due to the tiered coupon structure.

Nankai reported that tax-free sales accounted for about 19% of total sales at NAMBA Parks and NAMBA CITY in fiscal 2025. Tax-free transactions increased roughly 25% year on year between April and June 2026. NANKAI NAMBA TOURIST was introduced against that backdrop to give international visitors targeted coupons and a points incentive.
