Most seasoned pastors I know have preached through a Gospel (Matthew and John especially), a variety of Paul's epistles (usually Romans, Ephesians, and Philippians), some of the psalms, the beginning of Genesis, and the end of Revelation. I know three men who even preached through all of Isaiah!
