Targus Full-Size Wired EcoSmart Keyboard & Mouse Combo: Practical, Eco-Conscious Desktop Essentials

Targus packages a conventional desktop input setup into an eco-minded combo: a full-size wired keyboard and an ambidextrous wired mouse. The pair targets people who want reliable, no-frills productivity tools that are simple to set up and use across Windows and macOS systems.

The mouse is ambidextrous, measures 2.63" × 4.5" × 1.63", and weighs 0.26 lb. It includes two side buttons for forward/back navigation and a traditional scroll wheel. DPI can be switched between 1200, 1600, and 2400 to match different tasks or user preferences. The mouse cable is five feet long, offering a bit more reach for flexible placement.

A practical feature is dual USB-A and USB-C connectors on both keyboard and mouse. That dual-connector approach removes the guesswork when connecting to older or newer machines. The set requires no drivers and uses plug-and-play connectivity. Targus also mentions smart auto-detection for Windows and macOS to simplify switching between systems.

The keyboard's scissor switches are tuned for quiet, responsive typing rather than gaming-grade actuation. That makes it suited to document work, email, and spreadsheet-heavy tasks where a number pad is useful. The mouse's DPI options cover basic productivity and higher-sensitivity needs for faster pointer movement across large or multiple displays.

The combo retails for $49.99 and is available through Targus' online store. For buyers who prioritize straightforward setup, stable performance, and a modest environmental angle, it presents an affordable option without extras like wireless connectivity, programmable buttons, or mechanical switches.

• A full-size keyboard with a dedicated numpad for data entry or finance work.
• A simple ambidextrous mouse with adjustable sensitivity and browser navigation buttons.
• Plug-and-play connectivity on both older and newer machines via USB-A and USB-C.

If you need wireless connectivity, programmable macro keys, high-end mechanical switches, or software-driven customization, this wired, driver-free combo will feel basic.

Keyboard & Mouse Combo is a pragmatic choice for users who want reliable, quiet typing and a no-nonsense mouse, combined with easy cross-platform setup and recycled materials, all at a sub-$50 price point.
