# What changed in Patch 13.06
VALORANT Patch 13.06 introduces a new primary weapon, a limited-time game mode, and a comprehensive rebuild of competitive tracking and some UI flows. Riot combined several systems in one release: a third 2,900-credit rifle, new match and player tracking metrics, Agent progression per Act, and quality-of-life tweaks for queuing and the post-match screen.
The Warden rifle: a third 2,900 option
Warden joins the Vandal and Phantom at the 2,900-credit buy bracket. It is a scoped rifle intended as a long-range option that is not the Operator. Riot's published numbers for the Warden are:
- Damage: 50 body at all ranges, 200 head, 42 legs.
- Fire rate: 6.5 rounds per second with a 2x scope.
This addition changes buy-round choices by giving teams a scoped mid-price rifle that may affect peeking, positioning and economy decisions.

Rebuilt scoreboard and performance tracking
Average Combat Score is removed and replaced by Performance Score, a 0–500 metric Riot says captures more than just kills and damage. Performance Score now determines MVP and scoreboard placement across Competitive, Unrated, Swiftplay and Premier. Riot plans ongoing tuning based on feedback.
Alongside Performance Score, Riot added Accolades (tracking personal bests per Act and lifetime starting with this patch) and Rank Legacy, a running counter of every Competitive rank you've achieved. Rank Legacy only increments for the same rank once every three Acts.
Agent Mastery and progression reset
Agent Mastery gives each Agent Act-level progression, lifetime levels, a Reward Track and an Agent ID. All players start fresh at zero for Agent Mastery with this patch.
UI and quality-of-life updates
Riot merged Home and Lobby into a single hub and rebuilt the End of Game screen to surface rewards, match details and standout moments in one view. You can now enter the Practice Range while in queue for most modes (it may be unavailable when the queue looks short and is not supported in Premier, Deathmatch or modes without Agent Select).
What Riot says comes next
Map Rating is confirmed for Patch 13.08. Riot has also scheduled Competitive Flex and Radiant-specific updates for Patch 14.00, indicating further changes to competitive systems and matchmaking.
