Animated DC film Dynamic Duo casts Mason Thames as Dick Grayson; Lee Pace and Steve Buscemi join as Red Hood gang members

Dynamic Duo, an upcoming animated DC Comics feature, has finalized several major voice roles. Mason Thames, known for recent on-screen work, will voice Dick Grayson. Logan Kim will voice Jason Todd. TheWrap reports Thames shared Nightwing comics on Instagram after the casting news broke.

What this version of the story does differently

This film will not follow the comics exactly. It reimagines Grayson and Todd as orphans and childhood friends who are ultimately separated by events that send them on opposing trajectories. In the film's setup, Bruce Wayne takes in Grayson, who becomes Robin. Jason Todd instead falls in with the criminal Red Hood Gang.
