The new single "Dónde Está La Fiesta" is built around an extended call-and-response section designed to involve the crowd. At the Bucaramanga show hundreds of fans shouted the city's name in response, and the performance features a guitar solo played behind Tommy's head. The artist said: "I love the energy and passion the Colombian people have for music, and you can really hear it on this song and throughout the album," and "From the first notes that night, the room was just lit all the way to the end."
Tommy's relationship with Colombia began when a friend at the U.S. Embassy in Bogotá connected him with a local festival director. That introduction led to invitations to tour the country as a cultural ambassador, where he taught blues masterclasses and performed at universities, theaters and festivals. He toured Colombia in multiple years and recorded the performance featured on this album during his 2023 visit.
During soundcheck at Teatro Santander, Tommy asked the venue engineers to record the concert. After listening to the audio back home, he decided it deserved an official release. Tommy mixed the new live album himself, relying on his recording and production experience.
