Zentek has been pre-qualified under the Government of Canada's Defense Drone Initiative Marketplace, a supplier pool for uncrewed and autonomous systems managed by the Defense Investment Agency on behalf of the Department of National Defense. The qualification is based on Zentek's graphene and graphite-based coatings and specialty materials, including ZEN-EMI-01, a water-based electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding coating made with the company's purified Albany graphite, for which it filed a provisional patent in August.
