Longines expands its Spirit Pilot family for 2026 with matte blue dials across the three-hand Spirit Pilot and the Spirit Pilot Flyback, keeping the reduced 39–39.5mm cases introduced in 2025 and COSC-certified movements.

# Design and dimensions
Flyback is slightly larger at 39.5 mm diameter and 13.4 mm thick, with the same 47.4 mm lug-to-lug. It features a box-shaped sapphire crystal that gives a slightly vintage profile and a bidirectional rotating bezel fitted with a blue ceramic insert and a countdown scale. The Flyback dial has two registers: running seconds at 9 and a 30-minute totaliser at 3, with silvered hands and applied numerals treated with Super-LumiNova. Water resistance is also 100 m.
# Movements and performance
Longines calibre L888.4, an evolution of the ETA 2892. It runs at 25,200 vph, offers 72 hours of power reserve, and uses a silicon balance spring. The movement is COSC-certified.
# Straps, bracelets and availability
Each model can be specified with a stainless-steel bracelet that includes a double safety folding clasp with micro-adjustment, or a blue rubber strap with a pin buckle. The rubber strap uses an easy-change system. The blue references do not offer the leather-plus-micro-adjustment clasp option that appeared on some 2025 references. These new blue Spirit Pilot and Spirit Pilot Flyback pieces are part of the permanent collection and are now available.
