For the first time, the platform includes information on 121 active companies under the subordination, coordination, or authority of a central tutelary public institution, as well as on the people holding management positions within them. More than 370 people receive monthly incomes of up to RON 25,000, 115 receive incomes between RON 25,000 and 50,000, 36 receive incomes between RON 50,000 and 100,000, while one person receives more than RON 100,000 (EUR 20,000) per month, according to Economedia. The platform is part of the broader effort to reform state-owned companies and increase transparency regarding the qualifications, salaries, and benefits of appointees, an effort necessary for good governance and to strategically support Romania's position internationally in economic terms.
