User Guide: Odoo Squarespace Connector — setup, sync, and daily workflow

# Key features

• Import products with variants, SKUs, prices, stock quantities and main images.
• Import customers and orders, filtered by ID, date range or order state (Pending, Fulfilled, Canceled).
• Export Odoo products (including variants and images) to Squarespace and update them.

• Send carrier and tracking details to Squarespace when deliveries are validated.

# Prerequisites

• Supported Odoo versions: 18, 19, 10 (Community or Enterprise). The module will not install on other versions.
• Dependency: Odoo Multichannel Sale (odoo_multi_channel_sale) by Webkul.
• A Squarespace site with Commerce enabled (products and orders present).
• A Squarespace developer API key with access to Products, Inventory, Orders and Profiles.

# Installation summary

1. 1Copy both folders into your custom addons path:

cp -r odoo_multi_channel_sale squarespace_odoo_connector /opt/odoo/custom-addons/

1. 1Restart the Odoo server: sudo systemctl restart odoo
2. 2Turn on developer mode in Odoo, update the Apps list, remove the Apps filter and activate the Squarespace module. Odoo will also install Multichannel Sale if needed.

# Create the Squarespace API key

# Connect Squarespace to Odoo

1. 1Open Multi-Channel → Channels and open the Squarespace card (or click New and set Channel Type to Squarespace). The card shows counts of synced products, orders and customers.
2. 2In the Credentials tab paste the Squarespace API key into the API Key field, save and click Test Connection. A successful test shows "Credentials successfully validated." and the channel becomes Validated and Connected.
3. 3Odoo locks the API key once validated. To change it, set the channel to Draft, update the key and test again.

# Configure the channel

Review the shared Multichannel tabs: Basic Configuration, Sales Settings and Product Settings. These set the company, pricelist, warehouse and stock options. Auto Stock controls real-time stock synchronization. Set the Pricelist used for exported product prices.

# Import and export workflow

From the channel Operation tab use the Import and Export wizards. For imports select the Object (Product, Customer, Order), choose a filter (All, IDs or date range) and confirm. For orders you can filter by state (Pending, Fulfilled, Canceled). Exports push Odoo products and images to Squarespace and update variants and stock as configured.

# Order state mapping and automation

Odoo states: PENDING to Quotation (default), FULFILLED to a sale order with posted invoice and done delivery, and CANCELED to a cancelled sale order. Set up scheduled crons to run imports/exports automatically so new orders, products and customers flow into Odoo without manual triggers.

• Install both module folders and validate the channel in Odoo.
• Configure pricelist, warehouse and Auto Stock settings to match your Odoo workflows.
