AEW All Out Tailgate Brawl pre-show: Perry defeats Shibata, Sisters of Sin upset, Bang Bang Gang wins chaotic brawl

Shibata controlled much of the early action with hard chops and kicks, working Perry into the ring apron and floor. Perry answered with a dropkick sequence and leveraged a small opening to win with a cover after Shibata attempted a choke and other strikes. The bout lasted about nine minutes.

After the match Perry called out Samoa Joe on camera, saying he had beaten Joe's man. Joe appeared onstage flanked by members of The Opps, walked to the ring, and ignored Perry's outstretched hand. When Perry grabbed him to force a face-to-face, Joe struck Perry with a headbutt and left with his group.

Queen Aminata & Mina Shirakawa vs. Skye Blue & Julia Hart

Blue and Hart worked as a team against Shirakawa and Aminata. The heels focused on isolating Shirakawa early but the match reopened when Hart returned to the ring and created chaos. The finish came when Skye Blue hit her Code Blue maneuver on Shirakawa and scored the pin at roughly the nine- to ten-minute mark.

Tailgate Brawl: Bang Bang Gang vs. David Finlay, Clark Connors, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia

The pre-show's main attraction was billed as a Tailgate Brawl featuring Bang Bang Gang (Jay White, Ace Austin, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn and Juice Robinson) against a team of David Finlay, Clark Connors, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia and partners. The match leaned into a football tailgate theme: Connors carried a keg to the ring, Garcia and Yuta wore shoulder pads and helmets, and the teams ran staged plays and spots that spoofed NFL introductions.

The brawl started with both sides charging on all fours. A scripted play sequence saw Garcia snap the ball to Yuta, with a fake handoff to Finlay before handing off to Connors, which ended with Connors spearing one of the Gunns. The Bang Bang Gang ultimately came out on top after a chaotic sequence that used the stage and entrance walkway, with Ace Austin hitting a high spot off the top of the stage during the match.

The pre-show served as a starter for All Out's main card and pushed two storyline threads. Perry's win and his confrontation with Samoa Joe extended their feud and gave Joe a strong, silent-aggressor reaction rather than a handshake. The Tailgate Brawl reinforced Bang Bang Gang's momentum heading into the main event portion of the night. The Skye Blue and Julia Hart victory gave a hometown win for Blue in Chicago.
