Jacksonville then put together a long 15-play, 72-yard drive finished by a contested 17-yard catch by Parker Washington. Immediately after the kickoff, Jarrian Jones intercepted a Patriots pass and on the following play Chris Rodriguez ran in a five-yard touchdown, extending the lead to 28-3 and effectively sealing the game.
Individual performances worth noting
Jacksonville capitalized on New England mistakes and controlled the turnover battle, converting those opportunities into points (the summary notes points off turnovers favored Jacksonville 14-3). The defense kept the Patriots out of the end zone for the entire game, while the offense moved the ball efficiently and spread targets across the receiving corps.
Week 3 result sends a clear message about their balance: an offense capable of spreading the ball and a defense that can force and convert turnovers. For the Patriots, the loss is a stark reminder of how quickly turnovers and special-teams miscues can translate into a lopsided defeat.
