A poll of 300 UK and US software professionals finds AI coding agents are creating downstream work: hallucinations, incorrect code, longer debugging, and code reaching production before teams understand it.
93% of surveyed teams reported AI hallucinations that misdiagnose problems in complex code.
Teams spend an average of 16.9 hours a week debugging, roughly twice the time spent writing code, according to Undo's poll.
