I know that birthdays can mean so many different things to different people but for me, birthdays have always been a way of sharing a personal part of me with someone special in my life. So any time doodlebug comes out with a birthday themed collection, I can't help but smile. Balloons and Banners is one of those collections that I know I will be grabbing time and time again.

How it works

• The gender neutral colours and darling icons make this collection a show stopper!
• For this set of cards, I started by using the Birthday Boy Cards & Envelopes as a base.
• These lovely sticker sheets have beautiful trim that you can add in so many different ways.
• I used them towards the bottom of the patterned paper just to add a pretty detail.
• This is a product that I know will be a regular on this card-makers supply list!

Details worth keeping

I have been making handmade cards for my family members since I was a kid. My dad still has every one that I have ever made. There is just something so special to me in making a birthday card.
