Škoda Auto India has announced a price revision that takes effect on October 1, 2026. Across its India portfolio the company will raise ex-showroom prices by up to 1.2%, with the highest individual increase capped at Rs 20,000. The company attributes the change to rising input and operational costs. The hike varies by model and variant.
The increase arrives while Škoda reports strong recent performance in India. The company posted its largest sales year in 2025, delivering 72,655 units. It also recorded its highest ever first-half sales in 2026 and, as of August 2026, has sold over 50,000 units year-to-date — a growth of over 8% compared with the same period in 2025. Those figures provide context for the pricing move but do not eliminate the stated cost pressures behind the revision.
During the recent expansion, Škoda Auto India has sold more than 250,000 locally manufactured cars. The Kylaq is the brand's single largest contributor, with over 75,000 units sold. The company has also expanded its retail network to more than 345 touchpoints across 193 cities in India.
Škoda plans to launch the Slavia facelift on October 6, 2026. Bookings are open at Rs 15,000. Key changes listed for the updated Slavia include:
- Interior and tech: a new 10.1-inch infotainment system with updated graphics, a larger 10.25-inch digital driver display, rear-seat massager, powered and ventilated front seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an updated AC unit.
- Powertrain: the Slavia continues with two petrol options — a 115 bhp 1.0-litre and a 150 bhp 1.5-litre direct-injection turbo engine. The 1.0-litre gains a new 8-speed automatic gearbox alongside the 6-speed manual. The 1.5-litre remains paired exclusively with a 7-speed DCT.
What owners and buyers should check If you are considering a Škoda purchase or awaiting a delivery, check the ex-showroom price for your specific model and variant after October 1, 2026. Dealers will apply the revised pricing differently across variants, so the exact increase can be lower than the cap of Rs 20,000. Those booking the Slavia facelift should confirm whether launch pricing or the revised price schedule applies to their reservation.
This is one of several recent price adjustments across automakers in India that cite rising input and operational costs. Škoda's sales growth and expanded dealer network show continued demand for its locally manufactured models even as the company applies a modest price revision.
