  • Oct. 2–Oct. 10 — A Thousand Natural Shocks. Headwall Theatre Company presents Jacob Marx Rice's play about a lesbian couple navigating depression, marriage and pregnancy. Secret Theatre, Long Island City.
  • Oct. 3–Oct. 31 — Handcrafted Horrors. A film series at the Museum of the Moving Image showcasing monster and horror classics such as Dracula, Fantasia and The Exorcist.
  • Oct. 3 — Haunting Jazz Opening Bash, 7:00 pm. Musica Reginae season launch with the Paul Joseph Trio at Church-in-the-Gardens, Forest Hills.
