Scriptures for the New Month: 10 Bible Verses to Read and Confess

# What this post contains This devotional post compiles ten Bible verses recommended for use at the start of a new month. The author frames the scriptures as declarations to be read and confessed daily. The passages are presented as God's promises that cover health, comfort, peace, trust, hope, and guidance for life decisions such as career and marriage.

# Why use a short list of scriptures Short, focused lists make it easier to maintain a daily habit. The post explicitly connects Scripture reading with building faith and receiving redirection. Readers are encouraged to treat the Bible as "the final Authority" and "the perfect Law of liberty," using these verses to pray over specific needs during the month.

# The ten scriptures (references and short themes)

• Exodus 15:26 — God's promise of healing: "I will put none of these diseases upon thee… for I am the LORD that healeth thee."
• Revelation 21:4 — End of sorrow and pain: God wiping away tears and removing death and sorrow.
• 1 Peter 2:24 — Healing through Christ's sacrifice: "by whose stripes ye were healed."
• 1 Corinthians 13:4–8 — Love defined: patience, kindness, endurance, and that charity (love) never fails.

• 1 Peter 5:7 — Cast your cares on God: "for he careth for you."
• Romans 15:13 — A prayer that God fill you with joy, peace, and hope by the Holy Spirit.

• Proverbs 3:5 — Trust the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own understanding.

# How the post suggests you use them

• Read each verse during the new month and confess the promise aloud as part of daily prayer.
• Apply the scriptures to specific areas mentioned in the post—career, marriage, finances, and health—by declaring the relevant promise over that area.

# Practical routine example

• Morning: Read two or three of the listed verses and confess them aloud for five minutes.

• Evening: Journal one sentence about any change in perspective or an answered request and thank God in prayer (Philippians 4:6 style).

# Bottom line The post is a compact, scripture-focused practice for starting a month with intentional prayer and confession. It groups ten accessible passages that speak to healing, peace, trust, and hope, and recommends daily repetition as a spiritual discipline.
