Cody Nam Võ wins The Performance Icon at Tinh Hà Say Hi after 9 years in the industry

# What happened At the Tinh Hà Say Hi finale on October 2, Cody Nam Võ won The Performance Icon. The award was decided by public voting: he received 346,006 votes, surpassing four other nominees (DILLAN, Đặng Hồng Hải, Captain Boy and CONGB). The result is presented in the context of a long period of effort — the report notes approximately nine years of his artistic activity leading up to this moment.

# Why this matters for his career The win functions as a concrete milestone after years of trying, experimenting and shifting directions. The coverage frames the award as recognition for continuous performance work at Tinh Hà Say Hi, where Cody appeared repeatedly across the program and developed a distinct stage identity.

# How he performed at the show Cody's presence at the program included a string of varied, repeat appearances rather than a single breakout moment. Notable highlights mentioned:

• Multiple music stages across the run: 50 Cuộc Gọi Nhỡ, Perfume, MVP (Mưa Vội Phóng), Do 4 Love.
• Dance Battle: in Round 3 he faced Pháp Kiều and chose popping — a style he has emphasized since his early career. His Round 3 performance on the water-stage involved technically demanding moves, strong body-control and rhythm mastery. That routine earned the highest score for that segment and helped his team, Quang Hùng MasterD, win the overall competition.
• Finale moment: when accepting the award he performed a freestyle on stage and showcased his dancing skills while thanking fans, audiences and his crew.

# What he said Cody Nam Võ framed the award as validation of his work and persistence. (Translation: He called the prize recognition of everything he has done and thanked supporters after nine years of experiencing criticism and persistence.)
