Infigo, a web-to-print software provider, has partnered with BCC Software to embed BCC's Architect REACH mail-preparation services directly into Infigo's online ordering workflow for US customers. The connection standardises mailing addresses against the USPS database, assigns ZIP+4 and delivery-point barcodes, and calculates postage per piece before checkout so print and postage can be shown together in the cart.
Architect REACH performs CASS- and NCOA-certified address validation and standardisation against the USPS database. That adds ZIP+4 codes and delivery-point barcodes to addresses as part of the checkout experience, improving deliverability and supporting automation rates.
Real-time postage and automation savings
Fewer manual steps for print providers
The companies designed the integration to remove routine manual tasks for print providers. That includes preparing mailing lists, exporting them to third-party pre-sort bureaus and re-importing results, and contacting customers to correct addresses. The integration also supports configuration of postal permits, mailing types, address standards and storefront wording, which Infigo says can shorten the lead time to launch new storefronts.
James Ratcliffe, head of global sales at Infigo, framed the move as a response to customer demand for "seamless, real-time address cleansing," adding that print providers can now provide accurate postage pricing and cleaner mailing lists without leaving the ordering journey.
Jim Mann, business development manager at BCC Software, emphasised the financial side: "Address quality has always been about more than just deliverability, it's about making sure every mail piece earns the rate it's entitled to." He said embedding Architect REACH into Infigo gives print providers postage savings and cleaner lists without switching platforms.
BCC Software provides address quality, mail preparation and data enhancement tools for direct mail. Architect REACH includes USPS mail-preparation tooling and certified address validation (CASS and NCOA). BCC is part of BlueCrest.
Practical implications for print businesses
- Reduce manual list handling and the time spent exporting/importing between systems.
- Show customers the full cost (print plus postage) at checkout to avoid surprises and to increase accuracy when quoting and invoicing.
- Potentially lower postage costs by qualifying mailings for automation rates at the point of order.
- Shorter storefront deployment times because postal settings and wording can be configured in-system.
The Infigo–BCC integration brings USPS-certified address validation and mail-prep into the web-to-print checkout experience and calculates postage live, which can cut postage costs and reduce manual processing for US print providers. The reported test result shows a measurable postage reduction when automation rates are applied during ordering.
