How it works

  • Carrier said the product was developed in anticipation of tighter requirements under the European Union's F-gas rules for commercial heat pumps and air-conditioning equipment.
  • Available configurations include free cooling, heat recovery, variable ventilation and extended airflow.
  • Factory-programmed controls are intended to reduce commissioning requirements during installation.
  • Carrier has also equipped the units with integrated controls for multi-zone management and energy metering.
  • They can be connected to the company's Abound HVAC platform for remote monitoring and building-system management.

What to take from it

The manufacturer said the new range targets commercial applications affected by the next stages of the EU F-gas phase-down.
