Kristen Plowick, Advisor II in UNO’s CPACS School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, was named AAC Advisor of the Month for September after being nominated by colleagues.

Nominators praised Plowick’s peer support, committee leadership as Social and Recognition Committee Chair (two years), and efforts to help advisors network to better serve students.

The Academic Advising Council meets monthly (third Thursday at 1:30 p.m.) and accepts nominations for advisors who are at least.5 FTE and whose primary role is academic advising.
