MAVERIX announced the appointment of Kyle Hunter as a strategic advisor. Hunter spent more than 15 years at Lone Wolf Technologies in senior leadership positions, including general manager of franchise and industry principal. MAVERIX says Hunter will work with its leadership and advisory teams on client engagements that involve growth, go-to-market strategy, enterprise relationships and shifts in the real estate technology sector.
Hunter brings nearly three decades of experience across real estate technology, operations, sales and partnerships. At Lone Wolf he worked with brands and brokerages across North America. MAVERIX says Hunter will be a strategic partner on client projects that require practical guidance around growth and enterprise partnerships as the real estate tech landscape evolves.
MAVERIX founder and CEO Jeff Kennedy posted that Hunter "checks every box" and called him "the type of person we want to partner with," noting Hunter's reputation and the trust he has in the industry.
Shaun Guerard — Coldwell Banker Anabasis Realty
Coldwell Banker Anabasis, based in Macclenny, Florida, appointed Shaun Guerard as president of sales. Guerard has more than 20 years of real estate leadership and has coached and developed over 250 real estate professionals.
- Recruiting and agent development
- Expanding market presence across Northeast Florida and South Georgia
- Improving agent productivity and transaction volume
The brokerage notes Guerard has already contributed to growth at its Macclenny and Valdosta, Georgia offices. Co-owner Bryce Ocepek described the hire as a milestone for improving agent performance and market position.
Shelley Moore — Barrett Sotheby's International Realty
Barrett Sotheby's, a Concord, Massachusetts-based firm operating in the area for nearly 50 years, promoted Shelley Moore to its newly created vice president of growth role. Moore previously served as director of business development and was one of the company's top-producing advisors.
Her responsibilities include recruiting, productivity, market positioning, strategic partnerships, technology and potential acquisitions. Owner and CEO Laurie Cadigan said Moore's experience as a successful agent and business developer will help align sales strategy, agent development and broader growth initiatives.
What this means for brokerages and vendors
These moves reflect a practical emphasis on recruiting, agent development and organizational growth. Brokerages are creating or filling roles that combine sales leadership with operational and strategic responsibilities, while consultancies and advisory firms are bringing in experienced operators to advise on enterprise-level relationships and go-to-market execution.
MAVERIX added an experienced real estate-tech executive to expand its advisory capability. Two brokerages made hires meant to accelerate recruiting and sales growth, each assigning leaders who combine hands-on production experience with business development responsibilities.
